In pictures: Amongst the ruins at Ephesus
Reminds me of many ruins I saw in Rome over the summer! I hope to travel here in the future!
On the western coast of Turkey, Ephesus has some of the Mediterranean’s best-preserved, grandest ruins. As a major port for trade routes to Asia it grew from a coastal town in the 10th century BC to the second largest city in the world.

My hometown! A brilliant review of NCL.
Poetry speaks: La oscuridad viene
A while back, I wrote a poem for my Spanish contemporary poetry class and here’s what I came up with. I apologize that I haven’t translated it into English yet, but I’m hoping to do so soon!
Ahora,
No existe la supervivencia
La oscuridad viene
Echando una sombra lúgubre sobre el mundo
La hace aparente la muerte
¡Dominio de satanás!,
Algunos dicen
Incluso cadáveres descuidados, desnudados
Dispersas como no deseados,
Sienten agitados en sus tumbas insepultas,
Temblando de miedo desconocido
La oscuridad viene
Revelando la sangre secada de las masacres
Espadas esparcidos,
Sobre la tierra mojada
